The National Society of Black Engineers is excited to welcome you to our 38th Annual Convention held March 28th - April 1st, 2012 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The Annual Convention is the premier event for the organization which joins members from around the world. This year’s theme is “The NSBE Blueprint: Leadership, Teamwork, and Inspiration.”

This year’s Annual Convention will be like no other. It is meant to be a culmination of all of the spectacular events that take place during the year all coming to an end. It is also intended to help provide members with a “blueprint” on how to excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community. The convention planning committee challenges the members to put the past aside and use this convention as a mechanism to prepare for things to come. We want to help members realize the potential within and unleash it on the world.

There will be various programs and workshops that are designed to benefit grade school, collegiate, graduate, technical professional and international entities of the Society. In addition, the Annual Convention will showcase the NSBE culture, achievements of the membership, local and nationwide talent, and black-owned businesses in the Pittsburgh area. NSBE prides itself on the professional members that have come up through the pipeline. In order to continue this tradition of excellence it is necessary to come together and recognize one another for one’s accomplishments.
