Summer Camping Conference 2011: NC State

The NC State Chapter will be conducting their annual Summer Camping Conference (SCC) the weekend of July 29-30 on the campus of NC State for students in grades 6-12 who are interested in future Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) studies.
 
The conference is guaranteed to empower its participants with the proper tools to succeed. Registration is currently open. Early bird registration lasts until June 30th and normal registration will start July 30th.

Summer Camping Conference 2011: Terror Zone

Once again, the University of Maryland, College Park is hosting a Summer Camping Conference in conjunction with Howard University and Morgan State University in July.
 
This is a conference for students in grades 6-12. They will participate in hands on activities and skill development workshops. For updates please visit the conference website and contact Kayla Johnson at bes.pci@gmail.com.
 

In Loving Memory of Nkiru Amene

It's with great sadness to inform you that we have lost one of our NSBE Alumni Extension members and leaders, Nkiru Amene. Nkiru passed away on June 20 in a car accident while visiting her family in Nigeria.

There is a benevolence fund that has been established by her employees and friends. Read more as well as a letter from our National AE Chairperson.
