Azure Active Directory is a comprehensive identity and access management cloud solution that provides a robust set of capabilities to manage users and groups. It helps secure access to on-premises and cloud applications, including Microsoft online services like Office 365 and many non-Microsoft SaaS applications.

About the Presenter
Kevin Robinson's career spans several Fortune 500 Companies and various technologies. He began his career in computers with IBM working his way from Tape Librarian, through Operations ranks up to a Systems and Network Programmer. He has also run global networks and data centers across several organizations, specializing in Service Management, Continuous Process Improvement and Systems / Network Management. He now resides in Charlotte, NC where he is employed as a Senior Field Engineer at Microsoft. His role focuses on supporting Enterprise clients that deploy Microsoft Cloud technology, in particular Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
Kevin has been recognized many times for outstanding achievement in various organizations, this year inside of Microsoft's Secure Infrastructure Global Domain with a "Peak Performer" Award and also earned Microsoft’s Gold Club Award in 2010, Microsoft Campus Volunteer Award, Microsoft Office 365 Ship It Award, IBM Group Directors award and many others. He has also achieved many certifications over the years including Microsoft’s MCSE and MCT, EXIN ITIL Service Manager, Cisco Certified Design Associate and many others.
Kevin was born and raised in the suburbs of NYC by his parents Peter and Edith Robinson who were focused on making sure that their children were successful citizens. Kevin had a knack for technical challenges and studied Engineering at Boston University and other schools as he has successfully raised a family of his own.
Kevin’s passion lies in helping those interested in pursuing careers in technology to get started and successfully engaged in the rewarding challenge called Information Technology (IT). He volunteers his time and money to support efforts like BDPA’s High School Computer Competition, BDPA IT Showcase and Citizen Schools to name a few. He has an ongoing love affair with his wife of 35 years, Patrice who has blessed him with 3 sons of whom they are both very proud.
