Krystal Folkes

Krystal Folkes has 7 years of experience in Open-Source Software (OSS) development and support across various industries and roles. Her current role is a Cloud Solution Architect where she leads various initiatives to help Microsoft Retail and Consumer Goods customer achieve success in App innovations. She has B.S in Computer Engineering and Minor in Information Technology from the University of Central Florida. She uses her infectious energy to inspire and mentor others to promote diversity and inclusion in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics. Krystal is passionate about using her gifts to educate students and professionals about technology and software within her expertise in software training, and labs within the industry related to OSS, robotics, and Artificial Intelligence. In her free time, she loves to dance, travel, roller skate and learn about new innovations in technology. Krystal’s daily mantra is: “Passionate learning, excellence in execution”.
