Dr. Reginald Archer is a research scientist and lecturer at the University of Miami.  Although his current area is spatial modeling, he holds a PhD in Geography from the University of California Santa Barbara, a MS in Civil Engineering and BS in Surveying and Mapping from the University of Florida.  Prior to his role as R3 Professionals chair-elect, he was a convention planning committee (CPC) adviser, and has also served in NSBE leadership for many years at the chapter, regional and national level.

At work, he performs spatial modeling applications to understand environmental change, and impacts on hazards, disaster recovery, and public health.    He is also a member of the Young Professionals Network, Miami-Dade chamber, and actively participates in STEM days at the Overtown Youth Center, in Miami, FL.  Reginald loves to travel, play and watch sports and enjoys playing fantasy football.
