Mikala Windham, MBA, LSC boasts an impressive background in Supply Chain, Operations and Leadership within the energy and aerospace industries. She currently serves as a Senior Operations Program Manager in Electric Power Systems for Baker United Technologies Aerospace Systems. Mikala’s distinguished career further includes over 11 years of experience with top energy and aerospace companies. Building upon a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Systems Management from Texas A&M University and an MBA from University of Houston-Downtown in Organizational Leadership and Supply Chain Management, Mikala’s expertise is in Lean Six Sigma Transformation, Driving Excellence and Organizational Leadership with over 15 years of experience. Mikala is Lean Silver certified by SME/ASQ/AME and the Shingo Institute and is a bronze/silver trainer and reviewer. Mikala has participated, facilitated, or consulted, over 1,000 lean events, trainings and multiple lean complete transformations resulting in millions of dollars in savings and revenue generation.

In addition, Mikala is a lifetime member #66 of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) and has served a wide range of leadership positions from the chapter to national levels including 2017-18 Region 5 Professionals Chair as well as continuing to serve on the Region 5 Advisory Board.

Although professionally active on a global scale, Mikala remains committed to serving her local community through volunteerism. She currently gives her time as the assistant administrator for the Boykins Youth Foundation and the Co-Commissioner for the Dynamic Texas Football Association. Mikala also commits her time as an active leader at Spirit of Life Church Houston and being founder and CEO of Legacy Services International. Mikala currently resides in Phoenix, Arizona.

  • Continue to serve on the Region V Advisory Board
