Mission: To develop a strategic academic support network for undergraduate and graduate students pursuing degrees in engineering and the physical sciences.
Purpose: To address the academic support needs of NSBE members, chapters and regions through researching, developing and implementing innovative programs, workshops and seminars.
Objectives: To increase the number of NSBE undergraduate members graduating in the fields of engineering and science; to increase the number of NSBE members seeking and completing graduate degrees in the fields of engineering and science; to increase the number of NSBE members taking advantage of research opportunities.
NSBE has a new online GPA verification process. Members will self - report their GPA on their profile and chapter advisors will approve it through the Educational Institution Portal in NSBEConnect.
Please have your chapter advisor or school official such as a faculty member or registrar (if your chapter does not have an advisor) complete this form to register for access to the Portal.

At the NSBE Annual convention, juniors and seniors can participate in GRAD Lab presented by The National GEM Consortium. GRAD Lab offers underrepresented students exposure to the benefits of research and technology careers in a highly interactive one-day event. The students are encouraged o consider graduate engineering or science education and applying for the GEM fellowship. The workshops include:

"Voices From the Field: Real Life Research and Internship Experiences"
