Nomination Instructions / Criteria
Join NSBE as the entire membership celebrates the best and the brightest among the many talented professionals in the technical community. Human resource professionals, directors and managers, academicians and other individuals should submit nominations for Golden Torch Awards (Self-nominations are welcomed) Click here to apply!
Submissions can:
- Highlight individual achievement
- Encourage employee retention
- Create internal role models
- Celebrate diversity in the workplace
- Enhance professional credentials
You can nominate yourself, colleagues, co-workers and/or associates to highlight their achievements and recognize their dedication to the African American community. These nominees will serve as role models that set the benchmark for which we should strive to achieve.
WINNERS MUST BE ABLE TO ATTEND THE AWARDS CEREMONY AT OUR ANNUAL CONVENTION IN ORDER TO RECEIVE THE AWARD.
The NSBE Torch symbolizes our everlasting, burning desire to achieve success in a competitive society and affect positive change in the quality of life for all people. Help us pass on the Torch and nominate someone special for the NSBE Golden Torch Awards!
Nomination Instructions and Guidelines
- Please follow all directions and pay attention to the prompts while completing the application
- A candidate can be nominated for more than one award
- All candidates must be able to attend the Annual Golden Torch Awards ceremony during our Annual Convention
- All nominations and supporting material must be submitted online unless otherwise noted
- All materials received become the property of the National Society of Black Engineers
