End Zone

Welcome to a year of new NSBE highs and great acheivements! My name is Ana Taylor, and I am your 2016-2017 End Zone Coordinator. The End Zone has a strong history of setting the standard for Region II. This year, I would like to lead the End Zone in raising that standard to an all-time high. I am a senior at the University of Pittsburgh, majoring in Bioengineering and Industrial Engineering. I love running, traveling, shopping, food, and finding new music! I previously served as the 2015-2016 Chapter President of the Pitt NSBE Chapter.
As a former President, I learned that excellence in all things can only be achieved when we understand our true value and work to our fullest potential. As your End Zone Coordinator, I challenge each of you to operate not only as a NSBE leader, but as the embodiment of the NSBE mission in everything you do this year.
My goal for this year is to strengthen the bond between the chapters in the End Zone, particularly those that are less active by having more collaborative events. I also want to ensure that Zone Summits are catered to the membership by having a planning committee (consisting of a member from each chapter), to give input on the summit’s programming. We can also increase our reach by making new relationships with schools to reactivate several chapters in our region! I think its important for us to also have more opportunities for open dialogue on not only how we can grow, but improve. Finally, I would like to increase the impact each chapter makes within their school’s community, while helping each member of the zone understand the true value of their membership.
I am very excited to work with all of you this year and learn more about each of you
Look forward to hearing from all of you soon!
Stay Hype!
