Greetings from your Terror Zone

Coordinator!

Greetings Region II Family,

My name is David Franklin Currie IV, a rising senior, Mechanical Engineering major hailing from the “Charm City” Baltimore, Maryland. Currently I attend Howard University where I previously served my chapter as a Senator, then Vice President; winning Region II Large Chapter of the Year.  I am proud to say that I am serving as your 2017-2018 Terror Zone Coordinator. As so many people including my NSBE family have helped me successfully reach this stage in my life professionally, academically and socially, I’m forever indebted to my community. Although I can never fully repay all the guidance, opportunities, and wisdom bestowed upon me, the need to always give back falls very close to my heart. Most recently, this duty has manifested itself in the form of this coordinator position, which I intend to carry out with passion, pride and perseverance!

My vision for our zone is one filled with high aspirations that will push us to be at our best collectively. We will continue to build on our success through accountability, holding one another to the highest standards by creating a system of checkups between chapter presidents and their respective boards. This system will also build connectivity and foster better personal relationships amongst chapter executives, which is another key factor in our success. I believe executing these tasks, and others will prepare us for when NSBE’s 44th Annual National Convention lands right here in Region II, right here in our house! In the “Which Zone Reigns Supreme” contest” in Region II held at this years 43rd National Convention we tied for first place.but using these tactics we will be ready to show everyone who truly reigns supreme. Finally, I want to create a more engaging zone summit in which all parties involved leave feeling empowered, invigorated, and ready to tackle the remainder of the school year.

Thank you for believing in me, I can assure you that besides the things mentioned above there is lots more to come during this upcoming year. Reciprocity is a cornerstone in my life, just as I expect excellence from you all, the same should be expected of me. With that being said; cheers 2 a Hype school year filled with academic excellence, professional success, and community prosperity!

Feel free to contact me anytime.David Franklin Currie IV
