Greeting Region V Alumni Members,
My name is Julius Hudson, and it is will all pleasure and honor to serve as your Regional AE Conference Manager. This year the Vanguard Region has selected Tulsa, Oklahoma as the site for the 2009 Fall Regional Conference/Professional Development Conference. This event will be held from October 29th, 2009 to November 1st, 2009. We will be at the beautiful Marriott Southern Hills in southern Tulsa, Ok. This years’ theme, “Engineering a Global Impact” is precise in describing what we have in store for you in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Tulsa has been ranked by Forbes as the “#5 Most Livable Cities of 2009”and with Tulsa’s growth in technology, Region V couldn’t have picked a better place to have this years FRC/PDC.
This year we will be modifying our approach on presentations and seminars by providing you more technical presentations by our Special Interest Groups (SIG’s), training and certifications that will included technical and non technical fields, and workshops provide by our own NSBE-prenur that will not only enlightening you, but provide you with common practices that you can use and take home with you.
