Why Join

Region IV Professionals Welcomes Our New Chair Elect
Although the region has lacked a Chair Elect for the most of the year, Derrick Mitchell has stepped up to the plate to fill the gap and lead the region for the 2015 - 2016 year.  Not at all a stranger to NSBE or NSBE leadership, Derrick has an impressive resume with the organization.  He served on the Alumni Executive Board when the decision was made to improve the branding and recognition of our membership type to NSBE Professionals.  He has served both regionally and nationally as Telecommunications Chair and is ready to now step up his leadership!  Derrick believes that while the state of the NSBE Professionals is in a good state, it could be better.  His desire is to help the regional membership embrace the National Objectives and Focus Areas while at the same time he wants to make an effort to improve the programmatic content offered to our members and graduating seniors.  Let's all encourage Derrick in his new role and support him as he leads the region!
