Welcome to Engineering a Global Impact not just another NSBE Professional Development Conference (PDC) but an unforgettable experience! The Fall Regional Conference (FRC) and PDC Planning Committees are working hard to provide you a professionally fun-filled weekend!
Come and see how engineering is influencing the world at home and abroad. From the engineering history of Rochester to the eloquence of the facilities to the wealth of technical and professional information presented to the pure pleasure of networking with your colleagues. The workshops and events were selected in response to membership surveys as well as for alignment with the PDC core content defined by the AE Professional Development Chair..
This year’s workshops and events include:
- Technical Development i.e. Project Management
- Professional Development i.e. Financial Fitness in the Midst of Layoffs
- NSBE “Business” i.e. State of the Alumni and NSBE Preneur
- Social and Networking Opportunities i.e. Business Card Exchange
- Community Service Project- Habitat for Humanity
- Alumni Technical and Professional Awards Dinner
- Creative Entertainment- Alumni Mixers
There is so much more planned but I would not do justice by merely telling you about it so you just gotta be there!
I’d like to thank all those contributing to the success of the FRC/PDC with special thanks to the PDC Planning Committee: Langston Jones, Michelle Jackson, Denisha Louis, and the entire Region 1 Alumni Executive Board.
