Gary is a second year Ph.D. Student at Clemson University. He is elated to serve as Vice Chair this year. He received a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park. Gary is a Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccaulaureate Achievement Scholar and Six Sigma Green Belt. At UMCP, he served as President Emeritus (2006-2007), President (2005-2006), and Finance Chair (Fall 2004).

Gary’s aspiration for the region this year is to have a more active membership. He believes with increased help from the members, the vision and mission of the society will spread and come to fruition at a faster rate. He intends to instill a systematic structure for establishing new chapters and welcoming them into the NSBE family.

Gary enjoys all types of sports, video games, and traveling.
