Zone Coordinator's Welcome

Hello Comfort Zone,

My name is Antojuan Broderick and I am a senior Industrial and Systems Engineering major from North Carolina A&T State University. I was introduced to NSBE on entering college and the organization has been a passion of mine ever since. Joining NSBE and helping to carry out its mission made perfect sense to me, and I am honored to have the opportunity to serve the organization in my role as zone coordinator.

This year, the regional directives are Academic Excellence and Leadership. My goals for the year are geared towards creating an environment for realizing the directive. My main aims are to build camaraderie and encourage more collaboration between chapters. I hope to achieve this through increased communication between myself and chapters (through the chapter senators), which will allow me to get some feedback from you about what you want to see in programs. My hope is that in such an environment, we would be able to work together to help less active chapters, encourage one another in our strife for academic excellence, and raise leaders who will take an active role in moving this zone, the region, and the organization forward.

I look forward to serving you this year, and I hope that you all are ready and willing to become involved in continuing the excellence of the Comfort Zone. I hope to have the chance to meet all of you at some point, and work with you to make this a great NSBE year.

Sincerely,

Antojuan Broderick
