Greetings!

The National Society of Black Enginee's (NSBE) 2008 Region IV Fall Conference will be held at the Detroit Marriott in the Renaissance Center in Detroit, Michigan, November 21-23, 2008. NSBE is the largest African-American student run organization in the nation with more than 30,000 student and professional members in the United States and abroad. The mission of NSBE is "to increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community."

During the Fall Regional Conference nearly 800 young, influential, and empowered engineering students and technical professionals will gather in a joint effort to learn, network, gain employment and uplift the black community. A section of the conference is used for a marketplace. This is where small businesses, artists, and vendors gather to sell and promote their products and services. Also, chapters are encouraged to participate in the marketplace to raise money for your chapter's needs.

The marketplace will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2008 from 9am to 5pm. Registration for NSBE Region IV Chapters is $50 and $100 for all other vendors. This cost covers your reserved table in the marketplace. If other equipment is needed we may be able to provide it, however there may be additional costs. Space is limited and will be reserved on a first registered first placed basis. The deadline to reserve your table is November 15, 2008.
