Members of Region IV,
My name is Vincent Iduma., and I am your 2007-2008 Region IV Publications and Public Relations Chairperson. I am excited to embark on this new journey with you. My vision is to take this region to new heights. The eyes of the mother region are upon us. This year will give people something to look at. My goal is to have full media coverage and presence at all of our conferences, as well as printed press releases during and prior to the conferences. Its time for a transformation. During RLC, chapter publications and public relations officers will receive adequate information on what is expected of them. This will ensure that we are flowing together. Be ready to be equipped at this year’s RLC functional.
I will keep you, informed of all upcoming regional and national events via the regional newsletter. The Region IV newsletter, The Circuit, will be available on the regional website on the first of every month. Members will have the opportunity to submit articles on any topic of their choice, including chapter events. It is beneficial for us to be aware of what is happening at other NSBE chapter.
As Regional Publication/PR Chair, I have an obligation to provide reigonal articles and updates for publication in the national NSBE magazines and newsletters. I am open to receiving your chapter updates on various campus. Please do not hesitate to send me anything! When submitting your various articles , please follow the correct processes and protocol. All submitted information must be approved by your chapter advisor. The voices of Region IV will be heard this year!
In order for all of this to be accomplished, I will need your help! Your comments, ideas, questions, concerns, and thoughts are very welcomed I am here to serve you. I look forward to a very successful and productive year.
