What’s up Region IV?

My name is Loren Walton and I have been elected to serve as your 2008-2009 Region 4 Programs Chair.

The primary objective I have for my term is to bring back the NSBE family appeal. Utilizing Regional and National programs as a vehicle of bettering yourself and your chapter is an enormous benefit of NSBE programming. I want each and every member to benefit from the programs created by NSBE and be excited to participate in any capacity. The best way to do this is to facilitate inter-chapter participation and support in National, Regional, and Chapter Programs. Hopefully I will convince every member that participation in NSBE programs not only rewards you generously, but greatly impacts the people you interact with in the process. I intend to exceed expectations of my duties, which include; managing the Programs Zone (PCI, Torch, and Academic Excellence Chairs), serve as a resource for chapter executive boards, create and implement new programs within the region while revamping existing programs, and to fully live and embody the mission of NSBE!
