Membership Zone

Greeting Region V,

My name is Aurelia Briscoe and I am a fourth year student at the University of Texas at Austin studying Chemical Engineering.   As I enter my eighth year as an active member of NSBE, I am excited to serve as your Regional Vice Chair and leader of the Membership Zone.  This year the membership zone and I have come up with some big goals for the region.   Currently our region has 1622 members, our goal is to double this number by National Convention.  In order to meet this region wide goal, the AVC’s and I have created chapter specific goals for each chapter in the region.  Your chapter’s goal can be found in the excel spreadsheet located in the Documents and Downloads section.  Please help our region reach our goal by doing your part as a chapter.

Throughout the year we hope that you will stay tuned into our website and provide us with any updates on membership initiatives going on at your respective schools.  WE are working hard on recognizing those schools that not only meet our membership expectations, but also those schools providing there membership with opportunities to fulfill the NSBE mission.  Our main concern, in the membership zone, is to make sure that you, the member, are taking advantage of everything NSBE has to offer.  If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact myself or anyone else in the membership zone.
