Howdy Region 5,

My name is Shameika Ansley, and I am a Chemical Engineering major. I attend school at Texas A&M University, where I am currently a junior and the proudest member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of '09. I was born and raised in Dallas TX, where I graduated high school from Science and Engineering Magnet, which is now the number 2 high school in the nation according to US Weekly. I take pride in everything I do whether it is my school, my religion, my organizations, my race, or my opinions. In the beastly chapter of NSBE at TAMU, I am the Vice-Chairperson. I also used to be a member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Band, Corps of Cadets, Freshmen Leadership Development Retreat Staff, and Voices of Praise Gospel Choir. Now, besides NSBE, I am in Women's Chorus which afforded me a trip to China. I like to travel, and volunteer. So every time there's a chance to travel, whether it is a football game or just visiting friends and families I take it. And whenever there's a chance to volunteer on campus, I make my schedule work, so that I am able to be there. With all of that said, I love having fun, so join me to make your NSBE experience better than before.
