On behalf of the Pre-College Initiative Program Committee of the National Society of Black Engineers, we present this years Summer Camping Conference, one like never before. This program was started with the goal of helping pre-college students aspire towards higher education, and to consider, in particular, careers in mathematics, science, technology and engineering.

We are enthusiastically reaching for higher goals, spurred on by our support and success so far. This summer, we will host our Summer Camping Conference for Region V Pre-College Initiative the weekend of July 18- 20, at Prairie View A&M University in Prairie View, Texas. This camping conference theme is “CRANK THAT ENGINEERING”, oh yeah, we will be having a BLAST while we learn the value of teamwork, academic excellence, and most important the GREAT OPPORTUNITIES in ENGINEERING. There will be workshops, competitions, a rope course and best of all, nightly entertainment, prizes and other giveaways. So make sure you do not miss out because this is one SCC that you do not want to miss.
