Welcome to the Fall 2003
Regional Conference,
With great eagerness and
enthusiasm, I would personally like to welcome all members, affiliates,
and supporters to Anaheim, California for the 2003 National Society of
Black Engineers Region Six Fall Regional Conference.
Please take an active
role in contributing to the Fall 2003 Regional Conference theme
“Strengthening the Pipeline to Success” by participating in the Fall
Regional Conference, volunteering in the Pre-College Initiative Mini
Conference, or attending the Professional Development Conference. This
years Fall Regional Conference is guaranteed to be a dynamic weekend that
will provide numerous remarkable learning experiences.
The Regional Executive
Board has worked diligently to provide innovative workshops that will
assist in leadership development, academic growth, and providing new
avenues to explore technological development.
I hope you all will take
the time to embrace this year's regional theme “Stepping Up to the Region
VI Challenge” by absorbing all the information distributed during the
conference, actively participating in all national programs and further
developing new leaders that will carry the torch into the future.
