Pre-College Initiative Programs PCI Try-Math-A-Lon: Try-Math-A-Lon is a tutoring program meant to foster good study habits, help prepare for standardized test exams such as the ACT and SAT, promote competition and good sportsmanship. PCI Science Fair: To promote understanding and implementation of the scientific method for students in grades 7-12. It also serves to develop presentation and communication skills. Summer Camping Conference: The purpose of SCC is to motivate pre-college minority students to pursue higher education and hopefully choose technical fields as their area of study when they get there. It also provides opportunity to introduce pre-college students to careers in engineering and technology through a series of workshops and team-based engineering projects.
