National Programs Chair
Tamia Middleton is a fifth-year student at the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor where she is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering. Originally from Macon, Georgia, she transferred to U of M in the Fall of 2019 as a part of the Dual Degree Engineering Program with Spelman College where she previously studied Chemistry. Her journey with NSBE began in 2016 as chapter T.O.R.C.H Chairperson of the Atlanta University Center chapter. Since then, she has served as Chapter Programs Chair, Region III T.O.R.C.H and Programs Chair, and most recently National Programs Chairperson. Under her leadership, the National Programs Zone has been advancing the Society’s year-round programming, emphasizing data-driven growth, and exploring new ways to innovate with technology in NSBE Programs.
