Alanah Penn

Region V Treasurer

Hometown: Indianapolis, IN

Alanah is a rising senior at The University of Texas at San Antonio majoring in Biomedical Engineering. Prior to being appointed as Region 5 Treasurer, she held several positions within her school’s NSBE chapter which included Finance Chair (2020-2021), Treasurer (2021-2022), President (2022-2023), and Interim Treasurer (2023). Outside NSBE leadership, Alanah has worked hard to maintain her academics and was named a Margie and Bill Klesse Scholar by UTSA KCEID. Alanah has also had the opportunity work four internships over the course of her time in college, and she has had the opportunity to participant in a Geekdom Startup Weekend where she won first place with her team.
