The integrated pipeline is divided into three major components:

  1. Institutional Capacity-building Grants - For each University Partner, grants totaling $15,000 have been awarded to support rigorous programming that encourages and enhances engineering completion initiatives.
  2. Scholarship Awards - Chosen scholars receive a total award of $16,000 during their time in the program and receive dedicated financial support to attend NSBE's Annual Convention.
  3. Dedicated Career Services and Internship Placement Support - The Integrated Pipeline Program also curates original career services content that covers everything from professional development, successful job search and prospecting strategies to long-term career mapping, personal finances and retirement planning. Cycle 1

Cycle 1 began in the winter of 2016 with the selection of the program's first cohort. In early 2017, the Career Services Virtual Content was launched. The program has hosted webinars presented by executives across STEM industries.

Cycle 2

Cycle 2 launched in early fall 2017 when NSBE and our three institutional partners selected 24 more scholars as well as added specific tracks to our career services offerings including bimonthly webinars, resume review and personalize internship placement.
