CJ Kirk currently works as a Data Engineer at Accenture Federal Services. In this role, he works to increase the efficiency and sustainability of critical business operations for a government client’s data and reporting needs. Before Accenture, CJ explored various fields in gaining experience in undergraduate research, contributing to a university newspaper, and occupying different leadership roles within the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE). His NSBE leadership experience includes his current role as the National Professionals Collegiate Initiative (CI) Chair. He has previously held the roles of Region 2 Professional Executive Board (PEB) CI Chair and the Texas Tech University Chapter President. He is an alumnus of Texas Tech University (‘17), from which he received a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemical Engineering. Outside of NSBE and work, CJ enjoys hobbies such as cycling, jiu jitsu, live music and learning about history.
