Tiffany Borden

Tiffany Borden works as a Claims Processing Support Analyst at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama. In her role, she examines issues and provides solutions and works on various projects related to regulatory mandates and continuous improvement. Tiffany encourages organizational commitment and involvement along with focus on personal and professional growth. With the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), she serves as the NSBE Birmingham (AL) Professionals Chapter President, the Region III Professionals Executive Board Talent/Professional Development Chair, and an active member of the Process Improvement Special Interest Group Communications Committee. She is a general member and Elections Committee member of the Project Management Institute Central Alabama Chapter. She also serves the Chi Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. as Chaplain, Nominations Committee Chair, and as a Delegate of the Birmingham National Pan-Hellenic Council Delegate. As a two-time University of Alabama - Birmingham (UAB) alum and Lifetime Member of the UAB National Alumni Society, Tiffany is the current Vice-President of the Black Alumni Network. She holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Materials Science & Engineering and a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Construction Management. Tiffany is a true proponent of furthering education and has strong community ties to align with the NSBE Mission. She is involved with Empowered to Conquer Limitless Groups and works with both her middle and high school alma-maters’ to continue to encourage students. She is also active in her church serving with her Sunday School, Children’s Church Ministry, and the Children’s, Youth, and Young Adult Ministry.
