Ms. Brittany Herring is currently a Deputy Software Lead Developer and Data Analyst supporting the Air and Missile Defense Radar (AMDR)/AN/SPY-6 (an ACAT 1C program), Radar Analysis Desktop (RAD) Analysis Tool Suite, and Aegis Baseline 10 Software Support Activity (SSA) efforts at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD). She previously has played the same role in other Aegis Baselines as well as Aegis Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Baselines and has too supported a few Marine programs (Common Aviation Command and Control System (CAC2S) and Marine Corps Enhanced Radar Data Display System (MCERDDS)). 

Ms. Brittany Herring holds a B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science from Norfolk State University. She is also in her 3rd term as President of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Potomac River Professionals Chapter where she was previously the Programs Chair for 2yrs. Ms. Herring also actively supports retention of minorities at NSWCDD. Ms. Herring resides in Fredericksburg with her two sons where she is a Football Mom and Cheer Coach.
