We are the technical professionals, engineers, scientists, educators, technologists, and business executives working in industry. We provide solutions to some of the most challenging and far reaching issues in the areas of science, technology, energy, defense, aerospace, chemicals, electronics, consulting, biomedical, consumer goods and various other industries. Our diverse group of more than 6,000 talented professionals includes entry level new grads, mid-level professionals, managers, and corporate executives. In major cities all across the globe, we are the architects of programming and services that harness technology to positively impact African American and underserved communities.
You will likely find us conducting interactive and educational workshops to youth in Los Angeles, supporting community cleanups in New Orleans, hosting test prep sessions in Dallas, awarding college scholarships in Atlanta, “Walking for Education” in Chicago, tutoring in Philadelphia, conducting technical trainings in New York, installing computers in Johannesburg, and making a difference in countless other cities across the globe.
The purpose of the NSBE Professionals organization is to promote technical excellence, professional development and community service amongst Black professionals in the engineering community. We develop and execute programming that enhances technology awareness, career development, networking opportunities, and encourages youth scholastic achievement. We are the professional sector of the NSBE organization welcoming a new class of graduating collegiate seniors each year to continue their growth and involvement in supporting the NSBE mission.
NSBE Professionals chapters are located in over 80 cities in the United States and abroad including countries such as Ghana, China, Canada, and Nigeria. The Chapters execute local events and programs directed towards youth and pre‐college outreach, community impact, and professional development. Hundreds of local NSBE Professionals events and programs have contributed towards the advancement of their cities’ math, science, and technology communities.
We look forward to establishing mutually beneficial partnerships with companies and organizations interested in direct access to a diverse group of more than 6,000 highly talented professionals from various industries.
