Jonathan Tyler

Region IV Professionals Chair Elect

Jonathan Tyler is a Quality Resident Engineer at Stellantis (formerly Fiat Chrysler Automobiles). In his role at Stellantis, he is responsible for ensuring the quality of stamped components being produced for several vehicle lines. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he earned a BS in aerospace engineering. He currently resides in Royal Oak, MI.

Jonathan joined NSBE as an undergraduate student in 2006 and held several leadership positions for the UIUC chapter, including Public Relations Chair and Vice President. He is currently a member of the Detroit Professionals Chapter, where in recent years he has served on the chapter executive board as Secretary and on the Region 4 Professionals Executive Board as Secretary and Programs Chair. He also served as the Speakers & Workshops Coordinator on the Convention Planning Committee for NSBE’s 45th Annual Convention that was held in Detroit in 2019. Currently, he serves as Chair-Elect of the Region 4 Professionals Executive Board and will take over as Chair in 2021-2022. 

In addition to NSBE, Jonathan is an active member of Black Young Professionals of Metro Detroit and the Stellantis African Ancestry Network Diaspora (STAAND). In his free time, he enjoys travelling, running, and cooking a good meal with friends and family.
