Conferences & Zone Summits
Region II has a plethora of Conferences. It is at these conferences where we hope all of our members can network with one another and gain professional experience. Information on our conferences are seen below in the order that they occur.
Region II Leadership Conference:
The Region II Leadership Conference is an opportunity for Chapter Executive Board Members to gain knowledge and insight in their roles as new NSBE leaders. Students participate in a variety of workshops made to give them the tools to excel in their positions in their home chapter.
Fall Zone Summits:
Fall Zone Summits (FZS) are a grate time for chapters within each
zone
to get to know each other as well as participate in various activites and attend workshops that a created to the specific zone.

Spring Zone Summits (SZS) are a grate time for chapters within each
zone
to get to know each other as well as participate in various activites and attend workshops that a created to the specific zone.
Annual Convention:
The
Annual Convention
showcases Professionals and Black students (Jr. and Collegiate) who have a passion for STEM; who are high achievers in these fields and who are channeling their dedication to advance thier communites and society at large.
The convention will attract more that 10,000 aspring and practicing engineers, educators and representatives. The convention will also attract more than 200 academic institutions, government agencies non-proft organizations and a plethora of corporations.
The convention will feature high-profile speakers, panel discussions, dynamic workshops, network sessions, community engagment events, technical and scientific competitions, hands-on engineering & science activities, and the premier career fair geared towards African Americans in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).
