Welcome to Region III of the National Society of Black Engineers, affectionately known as the "POW3RHOUSE" or the “R3ADY” region! I am thrilled to serve as your Regional Chairperson for the 2023-2024 term, and I am truly excited about the journey ahead.
Our region encompasses a diverse and vibrant community of pre-collegiate, collegiate, and technical professional members across the Southeastern United States (Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Mississippi) and the Caribbean. We are united by a common purpose, which is the NSBE mission to increase the number of culturally responsible Black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community.

Our commitment to unification involves fostering a common message that deeply connects with each member of the POW3RHOUSE, defining our shared values as members and our collective goals for meaningful change. We will provide concrete avenues for member engagement, ensuring that you have meaningful opportunities to connect, learn, and grow within NSBE and your respective professional fields. In addition, we are striving to enhance and optimize our programs, to aid in cultivating thought leadership and excellence among our members. We aim to broaden our influence, making a meaningful impact in the communities we serve.
As we embark on this exciting journey, I encourage you to get involved, stay engaged, and be an active part of our region's growth. Your ideas, energy, and passion are invaluable assets as we work together to fulfill the NSBE mission.
