REB Application

Greetings!

Thank you for your willingness to step up and serve the Fiyah Region. Before beginning this application process, please be sure to read the Candidates' Handbook thoroughly. If you did not receive this handbook, please email the Region I parliamentarian at r1parliamentarian@nsbe.org.

Each applicant must fully complete an application; this ensures that the applicant is prepared for the responsibility of being a leader. Each applicant should respond with respect to the position they are applying for.

After completing this online application, please send all essay questions found in the online application and candidate handbook, along with the following documents, all in ONE email, to r1parliamentarian@nsbe.org:

Letter of Recommendation

The recommendation letter should provide perspective regarding your character, work ethic and potential as a leader. You should select a NSBE member who can speak directly to the aforementioned items.

Leadership Verification

Students:

Submit a stamped letter from your school’s registrar or appropriate university official that states:

Enrollment status (full-time, half/part-time)
Class standing (sophomore, junior, etc.)
Academic standing (good standing, satisfactory progress)
Degree program (discipline/major)

Professionals:

Submit proof of your STEM degree completion (copy of degree or transcript).
A professional photo (headshot)

Applications for the Region I Executive Board are being reviewed on a rolling basis. You will be contacted by the Region I parliamentarian to schedule your interview for an appointed position or vacant elected position after the Annual Convention.
