The Integrated Pipeline Program (IPP) is a customized program that allows you to get a head start to recruiting, hiring, and retaining the diverse engineering workforce every employer needs and that the 21st-century economy demands. For Partners, a NSBE IPP is a way to identify and connect with the brightest, most diverse engineer scholars of the future, as well as a way to position firms and agencies as good, forward-looking citizens in front of employees, customers, and corporate and government decision-makers.
For Students, participating in a NSBE IPP provides young aspiring engineers with career readiness skills, access to corporate mentors, financial resources for education, and a cohort experience
For College Engineering Schools and Departments of Engineering, a NSBE IPP can be an opportunity for institutional capacity-building by continuing relationships with the firms and agencies that are providing their scholars with scholarships and internships, as well as an opportunity to work with NSBE to increase the number of culturally responsible Black Engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community.
Just as no two organizations are identical, each Integrated Pipeline Program is different — custom-designed in consultations with NSBE’s staff to meet the client’s precise needs and budget. Program objectives and components are selected from a portfolio of proven strategies and are created to suit the partner’s needs, match the partner’s organizational norms and achieve desired results.
