Awa is a junior at the University of Missouri-Columbia, majoring in Civil Engineering with a minor in Architectural Studies. Before assuming the role of Finance Chair, Awa held the position of Academic Excellence Chair at her chapter. Currently, she holds the position of Nsbe Fundraising Chair as well as Vice President of Speakers of the American Society of Civil Engineers at her school.
